This role is predominantly based in Melbourne CBD and requires availability to work across sites in Clayton and Wantirna South.

About the roles and team
We're looking for motivated and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team and provide ad hoc casual coverage across multiple client sites in the Melbourne CBD, Wantirna South, and Clayton. You will be primarily based in the CBD, covering a variety of roles including Concierge, Security Operations Centre and Control Room duties with a focus on communication and system utilisation.
In the roles you will:
- Provide excellent customer service: Meet and greet staff, visitors, and contractors, providing a positive and professional first impression.
- Maintain security: Control access to our client's sites, monitor CCTV and alarms, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents.
- Ensure smooth operations: Assist with deliveries, manage access cards, and provide support to the Security Operations Centre team.
- Communicate effectively: Liaise and build rapport with staff at all levels of the organisation, both in person and over the phone. This includes assisting with the telephone call centre helpdesk function for our corporate client's internal security phone lines and emergency line.
- Uphold safety: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, following established processes and procedures. This includes remote incident response and coordination, liaising with internal and external staff regarding security matters, and making emergency calls to triple zero and police, when required
What we're looking for
- Holder of a current Victorian Security Licence
- Completed a Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Current First Aid & CPR qualifications (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a Concierge or Control Room environment
